Red Coats Inc. is looking for someone who is upwardly mobile, with the desire to learn and progress with our accounting team. This position's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to, Property Management period-end closing activities and preparing monthly financial statements. Analyze and prepare monthly reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. The role will include supporting the Finance department in a variety of projects from start to finish to ensure compliance and accuracy.
All specified accounting functions for properties in the designated portfolio to include recurring journal entries, adjusting journal entries, bank reconciliations (recs), sub ledger account recs, balance sheet recs, equity, loan and intercompany recs, financial statement review and production on a monthly basis, assistance with year-end package production for each property, unit and lease level data input and adjustments, assistance with utility billing and annual CAM recs, review rent rolls monthly for accuracy, assist with budget input and review, other designated assignments from the Controller, Senior Accountant, Property Managers, and Owners.
