Telecommunications Administrator

Red Coats Inc. is a privately held company founded over 60 years ago based in Bethesda, Maryland. We specialize in providing commercial office cleaning services to a myriad of customers. We have established ourselves as a results-oriented, customer-focused company, and now have multiple offices in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Network and Communications Administrator. This position is in the Information Technology department. The position’s primary responsibility will be maintaining the mobile device fleet to include Android and IOS devices (approximately 2,500 mobile devices in use). This position will also be responsible for managing the installation and configuration of external telecommunications & internet services to remote offices and other locations. 

• Maintains smooth operation of mobile devices.
• Use Mobile Device Management (MDM) software to manage mobile devices. (Knox, Intune, & Apple Business Manager)
• Expertise with the setup, troubleshooting, and implementation of IOS and Android devices
• Plans, evaluates and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of mobile network.
• Experience using Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T customer portals is a must.
• Propose technical solutions to IT management to ensure all communications requirements are based on future needs and current usage and solutions to optimize cost savings.
• Coordinate third-party maintenance for telecom and remote communication equipment.
• Own and drive crises that may involve technically challenging issues and diverse audiences.
• Respond to informal/formal escalation requests for assistance and follow through to resolution.
• Administer and maintain existing telecom systems equipment.
• Perform after-hours on-call rotation as required.

• 2-3 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma in a related field; 1 – 2 years’ experience with a bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 2+ years of supporting infrastructure in medium to large enterprises.
• Experience with Telecom and Network equipment and monitoring. Able to test network performance.
• Must be willing to work in a growing, fast-paced environment.
