Overview

Peel Properties, an owner managed real estate company is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team! This role involves working on both commercial and residential projects, handling various phases of carpentry from framing to finishing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and foundational knowledge of building concepts, architectural drawings, and the ability to install door frames and hardware efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, and painting
  • Interpret and work from architectural drawings and blueprints
  • Install and repair door frames, trim, and hardware
  • Ensure high-quality craftsmanship in all phases of carpentry/construction from planning to building process
  • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
  • Collaborate with team members and contractors to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in commercial and residential carpentry
  • Strong knowledge of building concepts and construction techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in installing door frames, trim, and hardware
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
  • Ability to navigate vendor websites

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience level: 10 years
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations
  • Valid driver’s license, construction tools, and reliable transportation
  • Experience in additional finishing techniques is a plus
