Cash Application Specialist

As we continue to grow, we are seeking to hire a dynamic and motivated Cash Application Specialist who will play a vital role in managing company financial transactions. • Accurately apply lockbox deposits, live checks, credit cards, wire transfers, ACH payments and payments to all invoices listed on customers’ remittances and properly chargeback deductions in a timely manner; this includes pulling and attaching backup for deductions.
• Process credit memos and apply heavy cash application accurately and within established timelines.
• Take charge of loading deposits and manipulating data for account management.
• Manually post or upload payments – must possess technical skills – Intermediate to Advanced Excel
• Responsible for performing all required cash reconciliations daily and at month end.
• Work collaboratively with other internal team members to identify, address, and resolve items from potentially disparate pieces of the company’s financial interests.
• Assists with special projects and compiles reports.

• Prior cash application or equivalent experience
• Appropriate knowledge of Excel, MS word and Windows based products skills
• Must be able to effectively organize and prioritize activities
• Ability to research and make corrections as necessary
• Must have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a large company environment

Job Type: Full-time - Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience level:1-2 years preferred

Accounting or Cash Applications: 1 year (Preferred)
